        NORTH ANDOVER -- Joan M. (Blier) Martin, 62, of 5 McCabe Court, died Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

        Born in Maine, Mrs. Martin most recently worked as a customer service representative for the Lechmere Store in Woburn.

        While living in North Andover, she was a member of St. Michael Church. She was known for her sense of humor, which she maintained throughout her long illness, and she regarded family as her greatest treasure.

        She was particularly talented in arts and crafts.

        The widow of Thomas J. Martin, she leaves daughters and their husbands Donna and George Myers of North Andover, and Diane and Robert Orr of Pompano Beach, Fla.; brothers Robert Blier of Litchfield, N.H., and AlbertBlier of Holland Patent, New York; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

        A funeral Mass will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Church. Burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery, North Andover.

        Family and friends may call tomorrow evening from 6 to 9 at Dewhirst and Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third St., North Andover.
