FORT KENT - Marilyn Blier, 63, died peacefully March 7, 2005, at a Fort Kent hospital. She was born June 8, 1941, in Frenchville, the daughterof Denis and Mary (Morneault) Sirois. She is survived by her husband, Emile Blier; one daughter, Carol Blier of Baker Brook, Neb.; three sons,Gilman of Wallagrass, David of Bangor, and Dale of Fort Kent; two sisters, Cecile Sirois of Madawaska, and Irene Jandreau of Higganum, Conn.; three brothers, Maurice of St. Agatha, Leo James of Higganum, Conn., and Robert of Bristol, Conn.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and one brother, Lionel Sirois. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Louis Catholic Church with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. There will be no viewing at the funeral home, friends are asked to go directly to the church. Spring burial will be in the parish cemetery, May 18, 2005. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Marilyn Blier Funeral Fund, care of Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, 14 East Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743.
