FORT KENT - Germaine Blier, 81, died Feb. 3, 2002, at a Fort Kent health-care facility. She was born in Fort Kent, April 29, 1920, the daughter of Joseph and Phoebe (Pelletier) Boucher. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann of Fort Kent. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Rene 'Pee Wee" Blier of FortKent; one son, Alton and his wife, Joanne Blier of Fort Kent; one daughter, Bella Blier of Frenchville; one brother, Emery Boucher of Fort Kent; four sisters, Eva Roy of Eagle Lake, Irene Pelletier of Lewiston, Nora Michaud of Connecticut, Bernice Blier of Fort Kent; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Larry and two grandchildren, and four brothers. Friends may call at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday until time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent, with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating.
