The father-in-law gave 2 cows, 2 horses of 8 months, 4 sheep, a bed, a new wool blanket, 3 pairs of sheets, a feather bed with the straw mattress and wooden frame, half a dozen towels, 3 tablecloths, 6 pewter plates, one pewter plate, half a dozen spoons, forks in 'acier', one cookingpot and spoon, frying pan, 1 fat pig, the wedding dress and some moneyto the amount of fifty pounds for the purpose of clothing her and for her own usage.

They say for the good friendship that the groom has for the bride the sum of 100 pistoles. They have agreed that the first one to die leaves all to the survivor.

The father-in-law gave them 2 1/2 'arpents' of land on the St. LaurenceRiver in Kamouraska, with a house, shed and barn. They will provide food in return.

Jean brings to the marriage 1400 pounds in silver and as much in gold, counted by the notary, and a 5 year old horse.
