        FORT KENT - Rena (Blier) Saucier, 68, beloved wife of the late Richard Saucier, died Oct. 15, 2003, at a Fort Kent hospital. She was born in Fort Kent, June 23, 1935, the daughter of William J. and Ernestine (Charette) Blier. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella of Fort Kent. She was a communicant of St. Louis Catholic Church. She worked for many years as the bookkeeper/receptionist at Saucier's Welding in Fort Kent. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband in 1988. She is survived by four sons, Richard Jr. and his wife, Karen of Millinocket, Maynard of Summerfield, Fla., Clayton and his wife, Lynn, and Bruce, all of Southington, Conn.; three sisters, Rosemary Berube and Irma Randall of West Springfield, Mass., and Emelia Pelletier of Clearwater, Fla.; two brothers, Alvey Blier of Enfield, Conn. and Herby Blier of Agawam, Mass.; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Ernest Blier, and two sisters, Laurie Deschaine and Leona Paradis. Friends and relatives may call at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home,Fort Kent, 7-9 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday until time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent, with the Rev. Clement Thibodeau officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Those who wish may donate in her memory to the St. Louis Renovation Fund, 26 East Main St., Fort Kent, ME 04743. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
